Hi everyone, I'm sorry I had to take a small break from my dating stories. I've been working a lot and I've also been sick. Plus, I need to dig down deep and try to remember more dates and experiences that went wrong. I haven't had a "bad date" in a while so it's harder to recall them than I originally thought.
So, just to keep you readers entertained, I thought I'd tell you one of the weirdest roommate experiences I've ever had. If you've known me for at least 6 or 7 years, you've heard this story. It's a good one.
It happened one Monday in early 2005, it was my day off. I've always been a fan of sleeping in and this day was no different. Since it was a Monday all my roommates were either at work or school by the time I woke up. When I got up I followed my normal routine of using the rest room first. Let me paint you a quick picture of what our place was like: We lived in a tiny 2 bedroom basement of a house with ceilings at 6'3"at the highest so my roommates boyfriend of 6'4" had to duck when he was in there. We only had 1 bathroom that the 4 of us shared. So now you have an idea of what my living situation was like. I walk into the bathroom and something isn't right... my eye spots this right away. Next to the tub (not very close to the toilet I might add) was this little piece of... poop. That's right, poop! Just know, we had no pets, no animals had ever been in our place. I looked at it and I just screamed. I called my roommate and bff Tiffany because I didn't know what else to do. I was freaking out. Now, I know it's just poop but, really, It's not like we had any children living with us. We were 4 women in our early 20's. I still remember what I said when I called her, I believe she was at work so I left a voice mail. "Tiffany, I don't know wither I should be laughing or crying right now but, there is a piece of poop on the floor in our bathroom!! Do you know anything about that? Call me back, I'm freaking out" I think that she thought I was accusing her of poohing on the floor but, I wasn't. She called me back and let me know it wasn't her nor had she seen it there this morning.
I was so distraught over the situation, I left the house and went to the gym. I couldn't just be there in the house all day knowing that little turd wasn't flushed down the toilet like it should have been. After the gym I went to my best guy friend Jon's house. I told him the story and we proceeded to discuss how it might have happened. That made me feel better because I got to really look at the situation and laugh at it. It was and it still is pretty funny.
I called my mom to see what I should do, she jokingly said I should put it on my roommates bed. I did know which of my roommates did this, at least I had a very very strong suspicion. I couldn't do it. I knew that would be humiliating to her. I am also a non-confrontational person so I knew I wouldn't be able to ask if it belonged to her. So, I decided to be brave, threw on some gloves, got a bunch of news papers and bags and went in and cleaned up that little poop, took it out side to the garbage and never said a word to her about it.
And that is the story of when my roommate pooped on the floor.

oh my gosh Kellyanne I am in class and just read that post. I started laughing out loud and everyone turned and looked at me hahaha!! That is so funny!! I am sorry you had too pick up someones little accident though that is terrible!
Oooooooh, super awkward! I probably wouldn't have said anything either, I would've just judged the roommate in question and talked about her to all the other roommates. Yeah, I'm a jerk like that.
That story is just as weird now as it was when I first heard it.
